MISSION
Through a better cooperation between the countries, the Benelux strives to promote the prosperity and welfare of the citizens of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The Benelux General Secretariat is the centre of this cooperation. It initiates, supports and monitors cooperation in the areas of economy, sustainability and security.
VISION
The General Secretariat has years of expertise in the area of the Benelux cooperation and is intimately familiar with the policy agreements and differences between the three countries.
Building on what has already been achieved, we put our knowledge, network and experience at the service of partners who endorse our mission. We intervene proactively on current themes.
In a greatly enlarged EU, the Benelux cooperation is an experimental garden from which Europe draws inspiration.
